There is a giant calendar on the cork board in the breakroom if you have not seen it yet or have not caught up on the post from last week's schedule. This is our new request off process. THREE requests per day, maximum. They need to be signed off by Katie to be approved. If your REQUEST was not honored that is because the maximum for that day has already been reached and it will not be honored. This means you are responsible for either showing up to your shift or covering it properly. Any issues or concerns should be addressed as soon as possible.

 Hey Everyone- I have a few announcements to make. First being, I know I just explained to you all last week how I wasn't leaving and that it was just a rumor however, I actually am very unexpectedly leaving. I was offered an opportunity that I truly couldn't pass up. I know I've spoke with a lot of you and explained my situation and reason for leaving, and I hope I will get to see you all and be able to talk with you. My biggest and most important reason for leaving is the fact that the schedule and job will allow for my schedule to be A LOT less chaotic and stressful for my son. At the end of the day family comes first, right? And you all will learn one day, especially when you have kids, they are always first. It really was such a hard decision, I hold this store very near and dear to my heart as well as all of you guys. I know it's been crazy, stressful, and disorganized lately but I really do want to thank you guys all for hanging in there with me and for EVERYTHING you all have done for myself and the store. You're all incredible people and I do wish you nothing but the best. Please feel free to use me as a reference. Now for some happy announcements :) Billy will be taking over as your Senior Team Lead! Some of you will get to open with him and you can utilize him as you would a manager. Super exciting and I know he'll do great, also Kelly will be taking over as your new Wacc Manager! Go Kelly. I know it's comforting for you guys to see some familiar faces step into some elevated roles! I'll be leaving you in great hands I have no doubt. My last day will be this Thursday, again I hope I catch you all before I'm gone. I am also planning to have your schedule made through the first week of October, I will have it posted before I leave. Those of you heading back to school please let me know the dates of which you can work until and when you will be leaving. If you would like to request a transfer I also need to know now so there is enough time to reach out to the transferring store. Transfers are not guaranteed, if the store is hiring and can afford to bring on another associate then they will typically accept. If you are not transferring but would like to work on your breaks please also let me know that.

Hey Guys- I had posted a note in the break room but I am no longer accepting requests off for the week of July 17-23rd. We will already be working down a Manager, this Thursday is Devon's last day, and we are at our max as far as requests go. Also those of you who "are not available Sunday", Sunday the 24th I am looking for any and all volunteers to work that day as we will be working on a one Manager day that day. Any support for Cliff that day, I'm looking at you my seasoned vets, would be greatly appreciated.

I also just wanted to say a huge thank you to ALL of you for all of your hard work helping prep for our visit. We killed it and they were all so impressed with how clean and beautiful our space is and were also impressed with our team. So, thank you again and though we may not say it all the time but we do truly appreciate all of you and all your hard work on a daily basis!

I will be out of the store next week starting Tuesday, poor Ryder needs his tonsils out. If there are any issues I will still be responding to emails. For any and all other things see Sarah or Devon.

PPS be sure to all read the In Store pick up packet at the cash wraps, this is something we now offer. And also be sure you guys are all becoming fluent and checking in with threads on a daily basis! Hey Guys-

Here is the schedule for the next 2 weeks. We have a 30% Sale on Sale next weekend starting the 15th, we will of course be expecting it to be a busier weekend. Please be on time and if you are going to be late ever, late meaning 1 minute past your shift start you NEED to be calling and letting a Manager know. Also if you still do not have the UO App on your phone please make sure to get it, play with it, get comfortable with it so you can educate customers, not just at the cash wrap but at the other main focal points in the store ie: door or fitting room. The MPOS now have a super cool new app for employees only called THREADS, be sure to be checking this as it holds product knowledge, information, and cool blog posts. I will be on vacation from 4/16-4/23 if there are any serious issues that you need to speak with me about please reach out to me via e-mail, I will be checking it frequently.
